Job Description
HCLTech is hiring an experienced Software Release Manager with strong expertise in Android Application Development to support release operations for a major global client. This role requires coordination, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage complex release cycles across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute end-to-end software release cycles for Android applications.
- Deliver app updates across multiple platforms following defined timelines.
- Work closely with development, QA, DevOps, and stakeholder teams.
- Perform detailed coordination and communication throughout release phases.
- Ensure smooth deployment aligned with quality and compliance standards.
- Handle Google Play Store publishing and update processes.
Required Skills & Expertise
- 8–13 years of total IT experience.
- 3–5 years of direct experience in Software Release Management.
- Mandatory: Android Application Development experience.
- Strong understanding of the Android ecosystem & Play Store release process.
- Good to have working knowledge of Java or Python.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management.
- Must be willing to work in Night Shifts.
- Profiles from Change Management will not be considered.
