📋 Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee production operations ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and output targets. Manage shift workforce, coordinate with maintenance and QC teams, handle batch production records, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and safety standards. Shift Incharges handle day-to-day shift supervision, raw material management, and production reporting.
Operate manufacturing equipment for intermediates, clean room processes, and powder processing. Follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for chemical manufacturing. Perform equipment checks, maintain production logs, handle raw material weighing and feeding, and ensure workplace safety compliance at all times.
Perform quality control analysis on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. Handle wet chemistry, instrumental analysis, and documentation. Maintain calibration records for lab instruments. Ensure compliance with quality standards and report deviations. Coordinate with production on quality issues and corrective actions.
Manage warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and dispatching raw materials and finished goods. Maintain inventory accuracy in ERP/WMS systems. Ensure FIFO compliance, safe chemical storage procedures, and GHS labeling. Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams.
Carry out mechanical fitting, assembly, and maintenance of plant equipment including pumps, valves, pipelines, and process machinery. Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance. Assist in equipment installation, commissioning, and modification works. Follow plant safety procedures and PTW (Permit to Work) systems.
