RC Transfer చేయకపోతే ఏమి జరుగుతుంది?
Used vehicle కొన్న తర్వాత RC transfer చేయడం Motor Vehicles Act ప్రకారం legally mandatory. 30 days లోపు transfer చేయకపోతే serious consequences వస్తాయి:
Accident జరిగితే insurance old owner పేరులో ఉంటుంది — new buyer కి claim రాదు. పూర్తి loss మీదే!
Traffic camera challans RC లో ఉన్న owner కి వెళ్తాయి. Old owner legal trouble లో పడతారు — relation damage అవుతుంది.
Vehicle crime లో involve అయితే — RC లో పేరు ఉన్న person కి notice వస్తుంది. Court appearances, police inquiry అవుతాయి.
30 days తర్వాత transfer చేస్తే late fee + penalty pay చేయాల్సి వస్తుంది. RTO అధికారులు fine వేయవచ్చు.

RC Transfer Online Process — parivahan.gov.in
parivahan.gov.in → "Online Services" → "Vehicle Related Services" → మీ State (AP / TS) select చేయండి → Login లేదా Register చేయండి.
"Transfer of Ownership" option select చేయండి. Vehicle registration number enter చేయండి. Vehicle details verify చేయండి — pending challans, insurance, PUC status check అవుతుంది.
Form 29 — seller details, buyer details fill చేయండి (Notice of Transfer). Form 30 — ownership transfer application fill చేయండి. Both forms online submit చేయవచ్చు లేదా RTO లో physically submit చేయవచ్చు.
Required documents scan చేసి upload చేయండి. Transfer fee online pay చేయండి — UPI, Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card accept అవుతాయి. Application number note చేసుకోండి.
Vehicle physical inspection కోసం RTO appointment book చేయండి. Appointment date రోజున — original documents + vehicle తీసుకొని RTO కి వెళ్ళండి. Inspector vehicle verify చేస్తారు.

Different State RC Transfer — NOC Process 2026
Vehicle ఒక state లో registered ఉండి, different state లో transfer చేయాలంటే — NOC (No Objection Certificate) తప్పక కావాలి. ఉదా: Tamil Nadu లో registered vehicle ని Hyderabad లో transfer చేయడానికి.
Vehicle registered state RTO కి Form 28 తో apply చేయండి — "NOC for Transfer to Another State"
Tax clearance certificate, insurance, PUC valid అని confirm చేయండి. Pending challans clear చేయండి
NOC receive అయిన తర్వాత — new state RTO లో transfer process complete చేయండి. Road tax pay చేయాల్సి ఉంటుంది

Vehicle Loan ఉంటే — Hypothecation Removal Process
RC లో bank/NBFC పేరు (Hypothecation) ఉంటే — loan clear చేసిన తర్వాత hypothecation remove చేయాల్సి ఉంటుంది. లేకుండా RC transfer possible కాదు.
Bank / Finance company నుండి loan fully paid అని No Objection Certificate (NOC) + Form 35 తీసుకోండి. Original RC book కూడా bank return చేస్తుంది.
Parivahan → State services → "Hypothecation Termination" → Form 35 + bank NOC + RC book upload చేయండి. Fee: ₹50–₹100.
RTO hypothecation remove చేసి new RC smart card issue చేస్తుంది — bank పేరు remove అయిన RC వస్తుంది. తర్వాత normal transfer process చేయవచ్చు.
💡 Important: Used vehicle కొనేముందు — parivahan.gov.in లో vehicle details check చేసి hypothecation status చూడండి. Loan clear కాని vehicle కొంటే — seller loan default చేస్తే bank vehicle seize చేయవచ్చు!
