📋 Roles & Responsibilities — Ground Coordinator
Coordinate and monitor daily delivery operations in your assigned zone across AP or Telangana. Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and as per the delivery schedule. Track shipments, resolve on-ground delivery issues, and communicate status updates to the operations team. Manage last-mile delivery coordination effectively.
Support and supervise the field delivery team — delivery executives, riders, and agents — in your area. Assign routes, ensure team members are present and prepared for their shifts, and resolve any team-level issues. Maintain discipline, punctuality, and performance standards within the ground team.
Plan and optimize delivery routes for your assigned area to maximize efficiency and reduce delays. Identify bottlenecks, traffic issues, and route challenges and provide solutions. Understand the local geography of your area within AP or Telangana to ensure smooth operations throughout the day.
Prepare and submit daily reports on delivery completions, pending deliveries, failed attempts, and ground issues. Maintain records of fleet movements, team attendance, and delivery metrics. Report to the area manager or operations head regularly with accurate ground-level data to support decision-making.
Coordinate with customers for delivery scheduling, address issues, and ensure satisfactory delivery experience. Liaise with local vendors, shop owners, and business clients for commercial deliveries. Handle customer escalations and complaints at the ground level professionally and efficiently.
Meet daily and weekly delivery targets set by the operations team. Maintain quality standards in delivery handling, packaging, and customer interaction. Identify process improvements to increase delivery success rates. Work in rotational shifts (day and night) as required by the operational schedule.
This role involves working in rotational shifts as per the company's operational requirements. Both day and night shifts may be assigned. Transport is provided for all shifts.
