mechanical sub-systems—this role offers valuable exposure to both design and workshop execution.
The work involves creating 3D designs and detailed drawings using SolidWorks / Creo, assembling mechanical components like
frames, shafts, bearings, linkages, gearboxes, sprockets, chains, pulleys, and rotary mechanisms, and supporting fabrication activities.
Candidates with a strong foundation in materials, tolerances, GD&T, and manufacturing processes will find this role a good match.
Experience range is 0 to 5 years, so freshers with strong CAD skills and practical interest can also apply.

Role & Responsibilities
This is a practical mechanical design role that combines CAD work with assembly and fabrication support. You will work with sub-systems
such as frames, linkages, rotary mechanisms, shaft systems, and actuator assemblies, and ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.
Below are the key responsibilities mentioned in the job post:
- Assemble mechanical sub-systems including frames, linkages, shafts, bearings, and housings.
- Fit and align motors, gearboxes, sprockets, chains, pulleys, discs, and rotary mechanisms.
- Perform drilling, cutting, grinding, tapping, and alignment tasks using workshop tools.
- Support fabrication activities such as welding supervision, sheet-metal fitment, and bracket installation.
- Create 3D designs, assemblies, and detailed drawings using SolidWorks / Creo.
- Develop mechanisms such as linkages, gear trains, wheel modules, and actuator assemblies.
- Perform tolerance analysis, FEA checks, and design optimisation for strength, manufacturability, and cost.
- Develop jigs, fixtures, and assembly guides to support production.
- Manage BOM preparation, versioning, and documentation.
