📋Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct microbiological tests on aqua feed raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. Perform standard tests including Total Plate Count (TPC), coliform testing, yeast/mold analysis, and pathogen screening. Ensure all feed products meet safety and quality standards before dispatch. Maintain accurate test records and lab reports.
Receive, prepare, and analyze feed and raw material samples per standard operating procedures. Operate lab equipment including microscopes, autoclaves, incubators, pH meters, and analytical balances. Maintain lab hygiene, sterilization protocols, and proper disposal of biological waste as per biosafety guidelines.
Maintain detailed lab logbooks, test reports, and batch records. Prepare daily/weekly quality reports for QC and production teams. Escalate out-of-spec results to senior QC supervisors promptly. Support audits (internal and external) by maintaining organized documentation.
