Job Description
Dr. Reddy’s Foundation is hiring a Sign Language Interpreter for their Muralinagar, Visakhapatnam center. Freshers and experienced candidates who are passionate about teaching and helping students with hearing impairments are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver training to youth on employability skills, following the predefined session plan.
- Assist students in interview preparation and conduct assessments.
- Act as an interpreter during the admission and counseling process.
- Provide support to employers during interviews and employee induction.
- Participate in seminars and other center activities to mobilize youth.
- Maintain data related to training and activities.
Mandatory Skills
- Proficiency in Indian Sign Language (ISL).
- Basic proficiency in English communication.
- Ability to train adults with hearing impairments.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to use web research tools.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of geography and traffic/road signboards.
- Experience in web-research and mapping tools.
- Experience in providing counseling or training to youth.
