⚡Key Areas of Work
📋Roles & Responsibilities
Plan, design, and implement telecom domain projects including fiber, wireless, and broadband network infrastructure. Create detailed network designs covering route planning, equipment placement, capacity calculations, and feasibility studies. Work on projects from initial planning through design, implementation, and post-deployment modification phases.
Create comprehensive High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents for telecom and fiber rollout projects. Prepare permit applications and coordinate with local authorities for ROW (Right of Way) approvals. Ensure all designs comply with client specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Perform detailed Pole Load Analysis using OCALC Pro, MRE, and IRIS software tools to assess structural integrity of utility poles for telecom attachments. Ensure poles can safely support additional fiber/telecom cables and equipment. Generate PLA reports, identify poles requiring replacement or reinforcement, and recommend corrective actions to clients.
Design fiber-to-the-x (FTTx) networks including FTTP (Fiber to the Premises), FTTh (Home), FTTn (Node), FTTb (Building), FTTcs (Curb/Street), and HFC (Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial). Understand the architecture differences, splitter placement, optical budget calculations, and design for last-mile connectivity. Work with telecom operators to optimize fiber rollout strategies.
Use AutoCAD for detailed network drawings and fiber cable routing designs. Leverage 3GIS and QGIS for geospatial network planning, route optimization, and as-built documentation. Maintain accurate GIS records of all network infrastructure, splice points, manholes, and equipment locations. Generate spatial analysis reports for network planning decisions.
Ensure all projects adhere to defined quality metrics and client delivery standards. Perform quality reviews of design outputs, coordinate with field teams during implementation, and address any design discrepancies. Willing to work in rotational shifts to support project timelines. Immediate joiners are highly preferred for active project requirements.
