Hiring Role in Preqin:

Junior Python Developer

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop and maintain Python scripts for web scraping and data extraction from various filing sources
• Implement ETL pipelines to efficiently process and transform raw data into usable formats
• Utilize Pandas and Numpy libraries for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and business objectives
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, and present findings to stakeholders
• Assist in the development of data-driven solutions to address business challenges and opportunities

What you’ll bring to us:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Python developer with a focus on data analysis
• Proficiency in Python programming and experience with data analysis, web scraping and data extraction
• Experience with ETL processes and tools is preferred
• Solid understanding of database systems and SQL
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
